Hello Beautiful People!

I hope you guys are doing well. I have been keeping super busy with my work and most of you probably know what I’ve been up to if you’re following me on my Instagram page. As for the city’s dubious weather, that goes from chilly to scathing hot to an unexpected downpour out of nowhere, I’m still trying to figure out an effective plan for my outfits. On most days I am clueless about what weather to dress for.

But off late I’ve taken a fond liking to Indian wear, especially kurtis, owing to it’s versatility- summer or fall, dress up or dress down, traditional or fusion, there are a gazillion ways to style a Kurti.

Look 1:

For my first look I chose this beautiful printed kurti as a fusion wear maxi-dress. You can also team it up with a leather jacket for an uber chic look or add a dupatta to pull it off as traditional wear. I love the kurti for it’s abstract print and bright colors.

Look 2:

In the pictures below I’m sporting a traditional foil mirror work mustard kurti. With the festive season right round the corner, I am planning on stocking up on more such kurtis that are simple yet elegant. Fuss-free Indian traditional wear such as this are my favorite kind.

Look 3:

For my third look, I wanted to jazz things up a little and style my kurti in a non-conventional manner. Here I’m wearing a casual striped kurti with floral applique teamed with my favorite denim shorts. It’s the perfect outfit for a trip to the mall or a casual lunch. You can also wear this look with a pair of sneakers.
